Would it be possible via a LANDSAT satellite image(or some other system) that was digitized,to make a plan for a drainage system, say for a large farm or village, like Haradevsinh Hadeja did in India. Something that is really, really effective,by just using the satellite imagery?

A simple topo map works equally well.

Sounds an awful lot like "Keyline Design" which is an irrigation - water management method utilizing topography (two differing sides of the same coin); and, "yes" our business offers this highly recommended planning type service.
